Let’s honor those who lost their lives on 9/11. Remember the story of the September 11, 2001, attacks against America. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum tells the story through media, narratives, and artifacts, presenting visitors with personal stories of loss, recovery, and hope. Activities your child can do at home include –

  • A letter with your own artwork to a local hero to thank them for what they do in their own community
  • Creating a first responder badge like the one police officers and firemen wear by using cardboard, tin foil, and tape
  • Creating survivor tree leaves by tracing your hand with your fingers closed and making it colorful with crayons or markers
  • Free 9/11 online webinars
