Spring Forward 2022

Share now

It’s about time to “spring forward.” Why? Daylight saving time 2022 officially begins Sunday, March 13 at 2 a.m. This means we move the clock ahead one hour. Most people do it by moving the clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Lovers of sunlight and springtime will be happy on Sunday, when clocks across most of the U.S. move ahead an hour and the dark days of winter start to recede.

For sleep lovers, however, it can be a day of dread. That’s because they will have one less hour to enjoy the comfort of bed thanks to a human-created warp in time.

Homeschoolers: sketch/color an illustration. Create a few math clock problems and solve. Read a story in Learning to Read: Fairy Tale Adventures and tell us what time it is in your favorite story!
