Prayers Needed

Share now

With all the chaos in the world today, prayer is needed now more than ever. Each year, September 11th has been set aside as a Day of Prayer to celebrate Patriot Day. Prayerful people are happy people. Prayer lifts one’s spirit. Prayer gives hope. Prayers can be given by anyone, at any time, and at any place. When I know that someone is praying for me, it immediately makes me feel better. Why pray? Here are a few reasons we need more prayers –

  • Droughts in the western part of the United States, Canada, Africa, and South America
  • See the updated global drought map here
  • People left behind in Afghanistan after August 31st evacuation
  • Shipping container congestion partially due to trade imbalance
  • Medical challenges like flu season, covid, etc.
  • Financial Distress
  • Families Falling Apart
  • Children need hope
  • People need to smile again 🙂
  • To give thanks

Therefore, my beloved, let us love one another. Let us buoy one another up. Let us be cheerful. How can we do this small and yet SIMPLE THING? By talking with God and others. We can use verbal communication, silent prayers, texting, Facebook, messenger, phone calls, letters, and even music. We can be a positive influence for good in this world. Let’s make a difference in the world today. Let’s be part of the solution for good to triumph over evil. With God, all things are possible! The family that prays together, stays together. It might take time, but do not give up! Only believe! Miracles will happen with your prayers!

1 John 4: 7 (King James Version – New Testament)

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Devotionals/Homeschoolers: Sketch/color a simple illustration. Draw an agricultural weather map and label it. Theme: prayer. Finish the sentence: I am going to pray for… Describe the story called Prayer.
