National Pet Day

Who doesn’t want a little kiss from their best furry friend on National Pet Day? Meow! Bark! Ways to celebrate –

  • Snuggle up together and watch “Lady & the Tramp” or “The Cat from Outer Space” or…
  • Watch the animated series called Star Wars Rebels and look for the Loth Cats
  • Go for a walk together
  • Give your pooch a favorite snack like an ice cube, meat treat or Kibbles
  • Give your cat something to purr about like a rumble tumble, special kind of toy

  • Praise your pet for their unconditional love

Homeschoolers/Educators/Parents: Sketch/color an illustration. Talk about your favorite pet. Listen to the audiobook story “The Tortoise and the Hare” and explain how the tortoise won the race. (Skillset: verbal, comprehension, creativity).
