Why Me?

Share now

Have you ever felt like “why me”? Everyone has felt like that at some time in their life.  We can easily feel sorry for ourselves or for others. Have you ever heard yourself or someone else saying?

  • Why not listen to an older person?
  • Doesn’t anyone see that little child all by himself?
  • Doesn’t anyone even care to talk to me?
  • Why not do something for someone that is left out?
  • Why can’t they let me have a chance?
  • Why are we ignoring those people?
  • Why not include everyone?
  • Why can’t I get better?
  • Why can’t I have an hour of personal time just for me?

God wants to be remembered too. We find verses in the scriptures that ask us to remember God. Even if everyone else ignores us, God remembers us. We belong to Him. God welcomes you and wants you to feel His love.

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it {bread}, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you. This do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup. When he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood. This do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Homeschoolers: Sketch/color an illustration. Theme: remember. Finish this sentence: I would like to…  Read the story called The Wise Men. Describe how the Wise Men remembered the child Jesus.
