Do not forget to put the turkey, stuffing, and pies on the table. While yummy tasting food is a big part of the celebration, there is so much more to Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving gives us the opportunity to pause and appreciate all that is important in our lives.

Thanksgiving is a special time of year to thank God for the country we live in and for our families, friends, health, jobs, pets, good books, fun times and more. From the poorest among us to the richest, we all have something to be thankful for. Even if we do not enjoy the same blessings as last year, we can be thankful that at some point we did enjoy them for awhile. I want to take the time here to personally thank you for reading this message.
