One effective strategy in writing is called the sentence starter. A “sentence starter” will help your child focus and organize their thoughts while fostering creativity. Use this strategy to help develop that creative genius you know your child possesses!

Common uses for sentence starters are to help students in describing facts, making predictions, comparing and contrasting, stating an opinion and clarifying or paraphrasing information. Instruct your child to finish the sentence below.
