Mobile Device Safety

Help keep your child safe. You can do this by looking at the mobile application or “app” that comes already built-in on the phone, tablet or watch. For example, Snapchat displays a user’s location on a map in real-time. This means that Snap Map will allow your child’s friends to see where your child is located, even right down to the very street. The geo-location automatically updates every time the app is open. However, you can turn this feature off, or use it in Ghost Mode. Both allow the user to view the map, but not be seen by others.
