Have you ever had to wait for someone or something? I have. Waiting. I’m still waiting. Are you still waiting? What are you waiting for? Let’s look at some things we might have to wait for:
- Someone to come home
- Someone you want to give a gift to
- Someone to give you that special gift
- Someone to ask you out on a date
- Someone to call or text you
- Money from someone
- Your first paycheck
- Marriage
- Your first home
- The birth of a child
- Someone to get better
- Someone to talk to
- A better job
- A great movie to go to
- A free day
- To pass a test or class
- For that meal to turn out
- A holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas
- The return of Jesus Christ to the earth again
We just have to wait. Waiting can help us develop patience. Then again, waiting might make us feel like we are going to go crazy. Whatever you are waiting for, make sure it is for something that will bring you lasting happiness!
