Our nation was built on prayer. On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the National Mall is hosting a momentous assembly as Americans from diverse backgrounds come together to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the nation through scripture, personal testimonies, prayer, and the rededication of our country as One Nation under God. This event will include reflection, testimonies, and an expression of gratitude.

Let’s have fun with this free online word search called “Day of Prayer.”  You can read more about prayer by going to Learning to Read: Old Testament Stories.  Word searches develop spelling skills, extend vocabulary, and emphasize pattern recognition. Find all the hidden words! Enjoy replaying one of your favorite word searches to beat your last score. See Wordsearch Instructions:
