Hello Christian Friends & Homeschoolers,

aural-1297838There is almost nothing more beautiful than to make a joyful noise unto the Lord! I love music. Don’t you?

It is also wonderful to be able to listen to music.I just found a great link that has some free Christian music to download. You can go to it by clicking on noisetrade. The way it works is artists sign up for free and upload their music. They can then promote their giveaway on Noise Trade. The musicians hope to gain fans or have others share their music on Facebook. While it will ask you for a suggested tip, it is definitely not mandatory.

There are many reasons to include music in your homeschooling program. Listed below are Bible verses that encourage good, uplifting music:

  • Psalms 40:3 And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
  • Psalms 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
  • Psalms 98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord; all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
  • Psalms 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good: His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.
  • Psalms 105:2 Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him: talk ye of all His wondrous works.

Let us sing and listen to good music. It is uplifting and makes our hearts merry. Let’s teach our children to listen to good music at the beginning, middle, and end of each day!
